Got Questions?

Frequently Asked

No. The Haunted Forest is designed for adults and older teens. It features live professional scare actors, total darkness, loud sounds, and intense jump scares. We strongly recommend the Enchanted Forest for families with young children.

The Enchanted Forest is a completely scare-free magical walkthrough. Glowing fairy lights, colorful illuminated sets, enchanted characters, and beautiful photo moments throughout. Perfect for all ages from toddlers to grandparents.

Yes! Our combo tickets let you experience both forests. We recommend starting with Enchanted Forest at dusk and transitioning to Haunted Forest as darkness falls — the perfect evening arc from wonder to terror.

No. Our scare actors create intense scares through environment, sound, fog, and psychology — not physical contact. Similarly, visitors are not permitted to touch, grab, or follow scare actors.

Sturdy closed-toe shoes are a must — the trail runs through real outdoor terrain. Dress for the weather (forest temperatures run cooler at night). No flashlights or bright phone lights inside.

Yes. We have dedicated group packages for school picnics, birthday groups, corporate outings, and large families. Email us at hello@mayvilleacres.com with your group size and preferred date.

Both forests run seasonally. Haunted Forest runs September–November on weekend evenings. Enchanted Forest runs late summer through the holiday season. Book in advance — peak nights sell out.

Both trails take approximately 40–60 minutes. Allow extra time if you want to linger at photo spots or interact with Enchanted Forest characters.

We strongly recommend booking online in advance. Peak weekend nights frequently sell out. Walk-up tickets may be available on quieter evenings but cannot be guaranteed.

There are safe exit points throughout the Haunted Forest trail. Staff members are stationed along the route and can escort you out at any time. You are never trapped.

Leashed dogs are welcome in the Enchanted Forest. Pets are not permitted in the Haunted Forest due to the scare experience and safety of both animals and actors.
